KRISTEN

A Northern California
native, Kristen Reyes, relocated to the warm and sunnier
half in 1997 to attend college at Cal State University
Fullerton. On top of her studies as a Public Relations
and English major,
she ran Division I track and field and cross-country. Upon
graduation she moved to San Diego. Presently she is employed
at the Council of Community Clinics, a non-profit organization
that offers support to area clinics whose mission is to
provide healthcare for the uninsured. On her time off and
to stay
in shape she runs, mountain bikes and lifts weights. Currently
she is training for the Eco Challenge’s 2004 450-mile
Primal Quest Adventure/Expedition race in September. Her
team, which includes three Navy SEALs, was featured in April
2004’s Sport Illustrated and will soon be seen Competitor
Magazine. |
